- Description
- A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of participants holding hands during the March on Washington, August 28, 1963. The participants are standing with their backs to the viewer in the foreground of the image. In the center of the image are two (2) arms held upright, with hands clasped together. A large tree trunk is centrally depicted in the background.
- On the verso of the image are handwritten inscriptions that provide the image date, event information, location, image number, the name of the printer, and the signature of the donor. There are also two (2) stamp marks in black ink in the bottom right corner of the verso.
