- Description
- A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of a man standing in front of a large banner during the twentieth anniversary of the March on Washington, August 27, 1983. The man is depicted on the left side of the image wearing a dark suit, white shirt, and a bow tie. The man is standing in front of a large, painted banner depicting Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. King is painted in three-quarters bust pose with his proper left hand resting on his chin and his proper left index finger on his cheek.
- On the verso of the image are handwritten inscriptions that provide the image date, event information, location, image number, the name of the printer, and the signature of the donor. There are also two (2) stamp marks in black ink in the bottom right corner of the verso.
