Description
A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of two men standing in front of a large banner during the twentieth anniversary of the March on Washington, August 27, 1983. The man in the left foreground is depicted wearing a dark suit, white shirt, and a light colored bow tie. The man on the right of the image is also depicted wearing a dark suit, white shirt, and a dark colored bow tie. Both men are standing facing the right edge of the image, with their hands clasped behind their backs. Between them is a partially visible banner hanging from a stage above, written in white text with varying fonts, that read, [[h]istoric 1963 March on Washington / We Still Have A Dream / JOBS PEACE FREEDOM].
On the verso of the image are handwritten inscriptions that provide the image date, event information, location, image number, the name of the printer, and the signature of the donor. There are also two (2) stamp marks in black ink in the bottom right corner of the verso.
