- Description
- A white baseball cap worn by Wilbert Rideau while incarcerated at Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola. The cap has text screen printed on the front in red, blue, and black reading "ANGOLA / 2005 / LONGTERMER / 2005" around a central image of a man behind bars. A length of white cord is attached across the bill where it meets the cap. The hat has an adjustable fit at the center back with a plastic snap. A fabric tag sewn on the interior proper left back reads: KC / Made in Cambodia / One size fits all / 100% Cotton. a panel of white buckram is attached at the interior front side, behind the screen printed design. The interior opening is trimmed in white cotton lined in white plastic as a sweat guard.
