Randolph is pictured in the center of the image, seated in a metal folding chair in front of the statue of Lincoln, which is only partially visible behind him. He is wearing a dark suit with a white shirt and dark necktie. There is a round, white and black March on Washington pinback button on his proper left lapel, and a piece of white fabric or paper in his front chest pocket. He holds several papers in each hand.
