Description
A square copper slave badge with clipped corners with die stamped and punched text on the recto reading: "CHARLESTON / PORTER / 1818 / No. [punched] 685". The maker's mark "LAFAR" is stamped on the verso. A hole is punched at the top center edge, partially obscuring the middle of the word Charleston.
