Description
A square copper slave badge with clipped corners with die stamped and punched text on the recto reading "CHARLESTON / MECHANIC / No. [punched] 103 / [stamped] 1826". The maker's mark "LAFAR" is stamped on the center verso. A hole is punched at the center top edge.
