- Description
- A carte-de-visite with an albumen print of Caesar Jones, Esq. Jones is seated and shown above the knee, with his right elbow resting on a table and holding a cane or walking stick in his left hand. He is wearing a three-piece suit and a bowtie. His name is handwritten in black ink along the bottom of the mount. The photographer's name and address are printed at the center verso. A three (3) cent green revenue stamp is adhered in the upper right verso corner and is partially torn. The day 18 of an illegible month in 1865 is stamped in black ink over the green revenue stamp.
