- Description
- Limited edition portfolio of "Furious Flower: A Revolution in African American Poetry." The portfolio is red with black vertical writing parallel to the spine that reads [FURIOUS FLOWER / A REVOLUTION IN AFRICAN AMERICAN POETRY]. There is an embossed flower motif on the bottom left of the cover. There are thirty-four quarto loose leaves laid into the folder. The portfolio consists of twenty three (23) poems that were printed by letterpress on Mohawk Superfine paper using Centaur and Arrighi typefaces. Each poem is written by a different contributor. The reverse of each page is blank. The reverse of the portfolio has black text with [vfh Virginia Foundation for the Humanities and Public Policy] at the bottom with [vfh] twice as large as the rest of the text.
