Description
Cream sun hat attributed to Mae Reeves with a flat-topped round low crown formed of buckram and faced with cream rayon. The ovular brim is larger in the front than in the back. The brim is formed of buckram. Cream satin and gauze wide-petaled flowers are adhered directly to the buckram on the top side of the brim. The interior of the brim is covered in cream lace with a large-scale floral design. The interior of the crown is lined with cream synthetic material and has two pieces that protrude at each side to secure the hat to the wearer's head behind the ears. The edges of the crown and the brim are covered with cream velvet. The hat has no label.
