- Description
- Black wool felt hat covered in black iridescent feathers designed by Mae Reeves. The feathers on the cap are held in place by a covering of black net, which is stitched to the interior edge of the wool cap. A plume of the same black iridescent feathers is attached at the proper right side. There is an interior hat band of black grosgrain ribbon. An ivory fabric designer label with black printed text is adhered to the center back interior that reads: "Mae Reeves / OF / PHILADELPHIA".
