- Description
- Cream chiffon hat with tulle embellishment designed by Mae Reeves. It has a high round crown and a short brim, similar in silhouette to a cloche. The hat is made from heat set plastic net that is covered in layers of cream chiffon. A length of cream tulle pouf is knotted and sewn at the proper left side with a short streamer hanging from the back of the knot. The underside of the brim is covered in the chiffon, with cream rickrack trimming the edge. The interior crown is not lined. A white tag with black text is adhered to the interior center back crown that reads "Mae Reeves / OF / PHILADELPHIA".
