Description
A lithograph honorarium for James A. Kelly. The lithograph shows a depiction of a national monument for the Grand Army of the Republic and kindred societies at center. The print also depicts an idealized cityscape with formally dressed people looking at the proposed monument known as the "Triangular Easel Monument." In the center of the monument is handwritten text outlining Kelly’s service record during the Civil War. The memorial was presented to Kelly by his six children on March 20, 1897. The lithograph is mounted and framed.
