- Description
- A cabinet card photograph depicting a sepia toned image of a uniformed soldier displaying a 10th Cavalry campaign hat in his proper right hand, with a trumpet held by a cord over his proper left arm. There is a round-backed mandolin with 4 double course strings, similar to mandolins in the Neopolitan style, on the seat of the chair beside him and a cartridge belt is draped along the lowest chair rung and the floor. The soldier and chair are in front of a painted studio background. The back of the card is blank.
