- Description
- A cabinet card photograph depicting a sepia toned image of an unidentified corporal wearing a dark colored uniform jacket, a bow tie, vest, light colored shirt and dark colored pants. The jacket has two square lapel pins, large buttons and a gold bar on his proper left chest. Two chevrons are visible on the left sleeve of his jacket. A watch chain is visible at his waist. The man is holding a cane in his right hand. His left hand is behind his back. He is standing next to a chair and in front of a painted background of a room. Printed on the card beneath the photograph is “O. S. Goff” and “Fort Custer, Mont.” The back of the card has a printed image of Christopher Columbus standing with a raise sword along with several other men. The image is captioned “LANDING OF COLUMBUS.”
