- Description
- Black boiled wool and cashmere coat (a) and belt (b) embroidered with faux human hair braids designed by Kate Mack. The coat is floor-length with a high standing collar and full-length balloon sleeves. It cut fitted in the bodice and then tapering outward into a full skirt. Braids of black faux human hair are embroidered around the edges of the collar, the center front opening, and the bottom hem. Clusters of the braids are also embroidered at the bottom of each sleeve and around the bottom of the skirt. The coat is not lined. A black fabric label with white embroidered text is sewn at the interior center back neck that reads "Kate Mack". The label is surrounded by short strips of the faux braided hair.
- The belt (b) is made from one thick braided length of the black faux human hair sewn to a strip of the black boiled wool and cashmere fabric. It is long enough to wrap around the waist more than once, or to be wrapped once with long tails.
