He looks toward a woman who sits in a chair at the far-right side of the frame wearing a light blue shirt. Between them in the background are an unidentified woman in street clothes and an unidentified female dancer in a black leotard and tights. Other dancers can be seen sitting on the floor around the studio in the reflection of the mirror behind the seated group.
