- Description
- A black and white photographic portrait of an older woman wearing a head band. The portrait is a close up of the woman's face, depicting her from the shoulders up. She looks directly at the camera, but does not smile. She wears a dark colored knitted headband that sits across her forehead and above her ears; it is knotted at her left temple. She wears a knitted cardigan sweater over a floral print garment. Light colored straps, perhaps for an apron, are around her neck. The background is out of focus, but dark to the left of frame and light to the right. On the back is an inscription with the title and date, along with the artist's signature.
