Description
This is an iron trammel with its hook. It consists of two attached pieces: a long flat narrow strip of metal with deep notches cut into one side and the long flat rod with a large hook on one end. The notched metal strip has a narrow hole at one end, through which the long hook is threaded. Old Slave Mart Museum numbers are written on the objects that read "R212A" (hook) and "R212B" (trammel points) and "R212C" (loop).
