- Description
- A solid style, sand cast brick from an unknown architectural structure. The brick is dark reddish brown in color with heavy wear and losses on the surfaces and edges. The brick is misshapen giving it a slightly trapezoidal shape. One of the brick’s faces has deposits of grayish white mortar spread thinly and unevenly over the surface. The same face has a large loss along the longer stretcher edge and the exposed brick is roughly textured. The other face is plain with losses at three of the four corners. One stretcher surface has a mushroom-shaped depression surrounded by green copper corrosion deposits at a header end. The other stretcher is covered with a thick layer of cement mortar discolored by black scorch marks. There is green paint residue on one header surface.
