There is a thick layer of mortar covering the entire surface of one of the brick’s faces. The other face has a large patch of thick mortar that covers most of the surface. The exposed brick below is a dark reddish brown. There is a small deposit of bright terracotta red powder near one of the header sides of the brick. One of the stretchers has a small deposit of mortar along a long side near a corner. The other stretcher has two small losses, each along the long edges of the brick.
