- Description
- A pantile shard from an unknown architectural structure. The shard is constructed from terracotta and coated in a black glaze. It has a concave profile and a roughly triangular shape. The decorative, convex side of the shard is almost entirely coated in a shiny black glaze. There is a small chip in the glaze along the right edge and the bottom edge of the fragment has a curvilinear shape. The back of the shard is fully covered in black discoloration. The surface is roughly textured. Patches of white salt efflorescence coat the surface.
