- Description
- A coquina fragment. The fragment is composed of compressed seashells and seashell fragments. The fragment is tan in color with tan, off-white, white, and brown shell, sand, and rock inclusions; including visible striated clamshell fragments. The coquina fragment is tear shaped. The Old Slave Mart Museum catalog number, [R193], is handwritten in black ink over a small rectangular patch of white painted at center.
