- Description
- A Dixie Logging Tool Company cant hook, or cant dog, with a wooden lever handle and a movable metal duckbill hook with a gripping tooth, or dog, at one end. The hook is bolted to a thick clasp. The clasp is wrapped around the handle and held in place with screws. The cant hook also has a metal extension toe ring. Molded text on the clasp reads [2[---?]/[---?] / 51 on one side and [DIXIE INC W[---?]O[---?]] on the other. Molded text on the on the toe ring reads [DLT CO 63]. The shaft of the handle is rounded.
