- A wooden California peaches crate. The crate is rectangular in shape. One the elongated sides of the crate is a black ellipse shape with a black outlined banner across the center. The natural wood color text in the ellipse above and below the banner read [CAL PACK] and [FRUITS]. In the banner is black block text that reads [FROM THE LAND OF SUNSHINE / REG. US PAT. OFF.]. One short side has text inside an outline of an inverted shield shape that reads [GROWN AND PACKED / IN / CALIFORNIA / U.S.A.] with a graphic of a rising sun at the center. The other side has black text in varying fonts that read [PRESIDENT BRAND / EXTRA FANCY / RECLEANED / MUIR PEACHES / PREPARED WITH SULPHIDE DIOXID / PACKED BY / CALIFORNIA PACKING CORPORATION / MAIN OFFICE - SAN FRANCISCO, CAL.]. Black stamped text on the bottom reads [B J M D / CHARLESTON / T & H]. Handwritten black marker text on the top edge of the crate reads [BOX 24].
