- Description
- A scrolled decorative piece of wrought iron fashioned by Peter Simmons, a formerly enslaved blacksmith. The black iron is scrolled into an S shape with the top and bottom scrolled in the same direction. The scroll on the top is smaller than the scroll on the bottom. Handwritten on the side of the decorative iron, in the center, is the text [OSM] in green paint. Next to the text is a painted white rectangle with handwritten black text that reads [R355].
