A black and white photograph of Pearl Primus in a group by Arthur Leipzig. Pearl Primus is in the center of the image. She has both hands in front of her body and her head is thrown back with her mouth open. Primus is wearing a black outfit with a metallic pattern, matching head wrap, and numerous necklaces and rings. The woman to the right of Primus has her hand covering her face and is wearing metal bracelets and a black top. The left of the image has an unidentified group of people. The unidentified woman at the front of the group next to Primus is wearing a white and black leaf-patterned shirt and glasses. The men and women in the background are partially visible and some are holding plates of food. Most of the group, including Primus, are facing off to the left of the camera. There are inscriptions on the reverse, including the title as well as the photographer's signature and photographer's stamp.
