- Description
- A painting titled, Starland Flag, by John Williams. The flag is painted on both sides of a rectangular piece of plywood. The front of the flag is white with seven (7) black, red, yellow, blue, red, black, and orange stripes that run horizontally across. In the top left corner of the flag are two concentric circles; the interior circle is white and the exterior circle is orange. Around the exterior orange circle are six (6) stars. Counter clockwise from the top of the circle, the six (6) pointed stars are blue, red, yellow, red, orange and black. The back of the flag is white with three (3) orange, red and blue stripes. In the top right corner of the flag are two concentric circles; the interior circle is black and the exterior circle is yellow. Around the exterior yellow circle are five (5) stars. Counter clockwise from the top of the yellow circle, the six (6) pointed stars are blue, red, yellow, black, and orange. Attached at the left and right center of the flag are two d-rings strung with picture hanging wire. The edges of the flag are painted in red.
