- Description
- Black and white photograph of a group of children playing on the sidewalk by Arthur Leipzig. The unidentified children are playing a game of tug of war with a twisted rope. On the left side of the image are three boys with their backs to the camera pulling the rope from one side. There are four children in a group pulling from the other side. The boys are wearing collared shirts, striped long sleeved t-shirts, jeans, and sneakers. One girl is wearing a plaid dress. Another child is watching them play from further down the sidewalk. The city street with buildings, cars, pedestrians, and a bicycle rider can be seen in the background. There are photographer stamps on the reverse.
