- Description
- Photographic postcard of an unidentified World War I soldier. The image itself is oval and has a white border. The soldier stands facing the camera and holding a rifle. He is in full uniform including a hat and ammunition belt with multiple pockets. The photograph is taken in a studio with a backdrop of a window and scenic overview of hills and trees. There is a large crease mark on the top right where the postcard had been previously folded. The image is vertical while the postcard is horizontal. The top has the words, [POST CARD] in large outlined letters. Underneath are the words, [CORRESPONDENCE] on the left, and [NAME AND ADDRESS] on the right. The card is not filled out.
