- Description
- Albumen photograph carte-de-visite of Thomas Henderson, identified as the servant of Lt. Col. C.B. Lamborne of the 15th Pennsylvania Cavalry. Henderson is depicted seated, visible from the waist up, and facing the camera. He is wearing a high-collared jacket with center buttons and a hat with an upward brim. There appears to be a small book tucked into the large pocket on his proper left chest. The outer edge of the photograph has a red double line border. Each of the four corners have been rounded. The back of the photograph has two inscriptions, both in graphite. The first reads ["TOM HENDERSON / SERVANT OF / C.B. LAMBORNE / MAY 1 / 64 / CHATTANOOGA TN" / INFO FROM / IDENTICAL CDV / FROM / GETTYBURG / SHOW / 2010]. The second inscription is written vertically and reads, [with 15th PV Cavalry / photos].
