- Description
- A black leather vest owned by Jim Vance. The vest has a buttoned-down front and a pocket on the front at the bottom, near the waist on each side. The buttons are metal with embossed lettering that reads “H.D. MOTOR CO.” A small metal plate is attached to the vests left breast. It reads “HARLEY-DAVIDSON.” The sides of the jacket below the arm holes is laced with thin back leather straps that are connected the to the vest with metal rivets. The front of the vest has nine (9) patches and twenty-eight (28) buttons. The buttons and patches are from police departments, patriotically themed or from motorcycling gathering and rallies. The back of the vest has thirteen (13) patches. Two large patches are at the center of the back. The top is a winged Harley Davidson logo. Below this is an American eagle themed Harley Davidson logo. The other patches are foreign country flags and motorcycling events and sayings.
