- A spiral bound reporter’s bound notebook owned by Jim Vance. The notebooks has a white cover with black text. At the top of the cover is “REPORTER’S NOTEBOOK / CARNET DE JOURNALISTE.” Additional text on the front regards maker and manufacturing details. Thirty-one pages of handwritten notes in black and blue ink are on the inside of the notebook. One of the pages is torn out of the spiral binding and is loose inside the notebook.The handwritten text on the inside of the notebook are about events leading up to and the beginning of the 2012 Democratic National Convention. Topics included in the notebook are how many delegates are arriving and on which days, where protests are happening and why, interview questions, national polling information, and events leading up to First Lady Michelle Obama’s speech. Printed on the back cover of the notebook is “Earthwise / AMPAD.”
