- Description
- A photographic image of six military men, including Lt. Colonel Charles J. Blackwood, and six women taken at Fort Huachuca. The photograph is taken on the stairs in front of a building with the sign, [OFFICER'S MESS]. All the men are in army uniforms consisting of a dark colored shirt with a tie tucked in, light colored paints, and garrison caps. One man on the left of the image is wearing a jacket over his shirt. Blackwood is featured in the front of the group standing with a women whose wrist is tucked into around arm. The woman is wearing a fur overcoat, patterned dress, and boat hat. The rest of the women are dressed in formal dresses and overcoats and two are wearing cloche hats. Two windows can be seen on either side of the staircase. The back of the photograph is blank except for in center is the text, [Lt. Robert S. Scurlock] printed in purple ink.
