- Description
- A copy of a Nicolet High School yearbook, titled “Shield," from 1969. The front cover is blue. It has silver, raised, stylized outlines of male and female human figures and faces running vertically down the left side of the front cover and across the bottom right quadrant to intaglio text that reads [Shield / ‘69]. The back cover is blue and has a small stamp in the bottom right corner of an eagle above the text [AMERICAN YEARBOOK COMPANY]. The interior pages of the book are off-white and contain black-and-white photographs, illustrations, and black text that detail life at Nicolet High School. There are several handwritten inscriptions on the front and back end papers. Oprah Winfrey’s sophomore class photograph is on p.142. The yearbook has 192 pages.
