- A black-and-white photograph by Kenneth Royster of individuals in a church. In the center of the image is an unidentified boy wearing a dark suit. He is standing in the central aisle and facing a woman identified as his mother. She is facing away from the camera with her back and partial left side visible. She is wearing a dark jacket and holding an unidentified object in her left hand. The pews around the two (2) people are empty. In the background of the image are various people, both sitting and standing. The columns, pointed arches, and stained glass windows of the building are visible in the background. The background is slightly out of focus. There is a numerical inscription on the reverse.
