- Description
- A black-and-white photograph of the dormitory at the Mission Rock shelter by Eli Reed. The image shows the interior of the dormitory. There are cots, covered in blankets, positioned in rows. An unidentified woman is sleeping in the left cot in the foreground. She is resting on top of a patterned blanket wearing a white sweater and dark pants. Her eyes are closed and she has a pair of folded glasses on her chest with her hands clasped over her stomach. The cot to the right is covered in a variety of stuffed animals. There are pipes visible at the top extending to the back of the room. High windows are shown above the back wall with signs for [10] and [12] below. A handwritten sign for [SOSE-BRISBANE] is between the numbers and lower down the wall. The photograph is matted.
