Description
Painting by Sam Gilliam. The abstract painting is heavily textured with a collage of other painted canvas sections adhered to this canvas. The top layer is black and partially covers the underlying layers of colors, primarily green, yellow, blue, white, and orange. The paintings has a beveled edge. The canvas is wrapped with a wood strainer visible on the back. The center support bar has an identifying label with the title and artist at the top.
