- Description
- A sepia toned photograph of Disc Jockey Bill “Hawk” Hawkins in a U.S. Army uniform. Hawkins depicted in bust pose with his body turn slightly towards the left side of the photograph and his head turned, facing the viewer. He is wearing an enlisted man's wool service cap with a round metal eagle device, the Great Seal of the United States, at the top center of the crown, and a leather chin strap buckled across the front of the crown above the visor. The hat is worn slightly askew. He is also wearing a winter service uniform coat, a light-toned, button down shirt, and light-toned tie. The jacket has front breast pockets with flap pockets, metal front buttons, and epaulettes all with metal buttons with the round eagle device. The background is off white and plain. The photograph has a white frame and a portrait orientation. The back of this photograph is white and plain.
