- Description
- Lectern from which Barack Obama accepted the Democratic Party’s nomination for president at Denver's Invesco Field at Mile High on August 28, 2008. The outward-facing sides of the lectern consist of horizontal wood slats. The front panel is framed by white panels on the top, left, and right edges. The top of the lectern is covered in blue and black felt, and the interior is seperated into two shelves. The proper left side of the lectern's topmost wood slat is signed [Bill Ritter 12·3·2010] in silver ink.
