- Description
- A stock certificate for the Birth of a Race Photoplay Corporation. Document is made out to Henrietta Eggert for four shares at ten dollars per share. The certificate is signed by E. E. [illegible] and Edwin L. Barker in their roles as Assistant Secretary and President of the company, respectively, and dated to the 9th of March, 1918. At top center is an image of a radiant torch. Gold embossed stamp at bottom left is largely illegible, but part appears to read [BIRTH OF A RACE PHOTOPLAY CORPORATION]. On back is a restatement of the issuance of four shares of the capital stock of the Birth of a Race Photoplay Corporation to Henrietta Eggert. On the left is preprinted language, complete with blank spaces for filling out, for the sale or transfer of the certificate to another party.
