- Description
- A black and white photographic print portrait of Jameil, captured at the Pepper LaBeija Ball in Brooklyn in 1998. Jameil is pictured center frame, standing in front of a white wall and next to a short flight of stairs leading to a closed door. She is wearing an elaborate feather costume consisting of a feathered halter bra top, feathered bikini bottom with feathered skirt inthe back, and a large feathered head piece with ostrich plumes arranged around the outside. There is also a feather cape-like piece arranged around her shoulders. Three strands of beads drape across her mid-section and she holds a single ostrich feather in her proper right hand. Her left hand holds onto the banister next to her. She looks straight at the camera, her proper left knee bent and right hip popped to the side. There are no inscriptions, front or back.
