- Description
- 2020.49.2.1a: A black pinstripe suit jacket designed by Brioni and worn by Reverend Ike. The double-breasted jacket is black with thin pink pinstripes. It features a proper left breast pocket, two side pockets with flaps, and seven, black, plastic, jacket buttons including two side-by-side at the front middle of the proper right side. Threaded through the buttonhole on the proper left lapel is a pink fabric rose boutonnière (2020.49.2.1b) held in place with a straight pin. The back of the jacket features a 10.5” back vent. The interior lining of the jacket is primarily solid black with woven graphic of a polo player in a repeating pattern above woven text that reads [Brioni]. The sleeves are lined with plain white silk. There are two proper left, and one proper right, interior pockets. Sewn above the proper left interior breast pocket is a black label stitched to the jacket with red thread. The label features red embroidered text that reads [Brioni / EXPRESSLY FOR / San Carlo / PARIS LONDON]. Stitched to the white linen fabric inside of the left interior breast pocket is a white label with black printed text that reads [Tessuto - Fabric Taglia – Size / 000/8517 58/48 R / Cliente – Customer Conf. / Riga – Line / 500/526-8 72815 012 / Modello – Style / TIBERIO 21] on the front and [Composizione – Composition – Nome – Name / 100% WOOL / 100% CUPRO] on the back above cleaning instructions.
- 2020.49.2.1b: A pink fabric rose boutonnière threaded through the buttonhole of a black pinstripe suit jacket (2020.49.2.1a) worn by Reverend Ike. The fabric flower has an olive green plastic base and is a held in place with a straight pin.
