Description
A recording made by Jimi Hendrix at Electric Lady Studios, consisting of a magnetic tape reel (a) in a cardboard box (b) with label.
The magnetic tape recording contains on a clear plastic reel. There is raised text on the top which reads [SIDE NO. 1]. The reel is in a black, square cardboard box with off-white interior. Affixed to the front of the box lid are two white labels. At the top, a printed label with black text reading [electric lady studios / 52 west 8 street new york city ny 10011 212 111-0150]. The bottom label is square with printed horizontal black lines on which the track listing of the recording is handwritten in purple ink:

"Bleeding Heart" 3:05

Next to both the third and last song listed is a handwritten "X" in blue ink that has been gone over in yellow marker. A few lines down from the track listing at bottom right is [Jimi Hendrix]. Along the very bottom of the label are two printed checkbox, one labeled [COPY] and one labeled [MASTER]. Both boxes have been checked, the "Copy" box with purple marker and the "Master" box with black ink and yellow marker. Next to the "Master" box is a handwritten inscription in black ink reading [1/4 TK.]. The proper right side of the lid has a yellowing label which reads [JIMI HENDRIX] in black text. There is some wear and tear on the lid, the label, and on the bottom of the box, which is solid black with no labels, marks, or inscriptions.
