- Description
- A digital scan of a mixed-media collage. The collage is held as a PDF file (.pdf) and is titled “Museum of Modern Rome.” The top of the image features a skyline consisting of watercolor brushstrokes. Below, parts of the Roman Colosseum can be seen along the image's left edge, depicted in earthy, brown brushstrokes. To the right of the Colosseum more Roman ruins are visible, including parts of the Roman Forum with the Dome of Santi Luca e Martina. In the middle of the collage, the image of a modern glass structure supported by diagonally erected stilts is superimposed unto the painting of Roman ruins. Much of its interior is white, with the exception of several brown and green objects inside. The artist's signature appears in white in the bottom right corner.
