- Description
- This is a color photograph of Jimi Hendrix playing with other musicians in a recording studio. In the image Jimi Hendrix is seated in between two other seated musicians. He wears a black shirt and black pants and holds an electric guitar on his lap. There is a microphone in a stand in front of him. He gazes downwards at the guitar. To his left is a man wearing a short sleeve green and white plaid shirt and grey pants. He holds a guitar on his lap and gazes towards the viewer. On Jimi Hendrix’s right is another musician in a light colored short sleeve shirt and black hat. He holds his guitar on his lap as he turns towards Jimi Hendrix. Standing behind them are two other men. One wears a button down brown shirt and the other wears a black and white plaid shirt and black pants. They both gaze directly at the viewer. Several microphones of various heights are set up around the room. In the foreground is a large square amplifier set up on a metal folding chair.
