Description
Black and white photograph of Mr. Leroy Buster Gilliard, Gloria Delores Gilliard, James Leroy Gilliard and Mrs. Dorothy Lee Simmons Gilliard.
The photograph depicts Leroy standing on the left and Dorothy standing on the right, the two young children, both toddler age, sitting on a raised bench in between them. Leroy wears a dark suit, a white shirt with a striped tie, and a white hat with a round brim. He is not smiling and his arms are down by his sides. To his proper left sits Gloria, wearing a light-colored dress, socks and shoes. James Gilliard sits next to Gloria, wearing a short sleeve shirt with overalls and white socks. His hands are folded on his lap. Mrs. Dorothy Lee Simmons Gilliard is standing on the proper left side of the table. She is wearing a dark colored ¾ sleeve button down shirt tucked into a knee-length skirt. She is smiling at the camera and her hands are folded in front of her. There are floral curtains in the background. There is loss at the bottom right corner of the photograph, along with several creases and areas of discoloration. There are no marks or inscriptions, front or back.
