- Description
- A black-and-white photograph of U.S. Soldier Show Cast Members Katie Schaefer and Yvonnie Mills, by Platon. The two women are standing closely together, side-by-side, with their bodies turned slightly towards each other. The women have serious expressions on their faces and they are looking at the viewer. The perspective of the photograph is from waist level, looking up at the two soldiers. Both women are wearing Army cheer uniforms: a V-Neck shell top and a short, matching, A-line skirt. The shells have a double bands at the neckline, with one band diagonally crossing over the other band. The proper shoulder above the band is a light tone panel while the rest of the shell is dark. Large, white outlined text printed across the front center reads [ARMY]. At the hem is a triple white band in a zig zag pattern. The thigh length, dark skirts have several pleats and both women are holding dark and white pom poms. The background of the photograph is bright white. The photograph has a thick white border. The edition number, [5/12], is printed in the bottom left corner. The photographer’s signature and date, [Platon 19], is handwritten in the bottom right corner. Inside the border, at the bottom center, is the photographer’s embossed mark: [PLATON ? / EDITIONED ? / PRINT ?[encircled between two bands of embossed dots]]. The back of the photograph is plain and white.
