Description
A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of Benny, a member of the Savage Nomads street gang, holding up the back of the gang leather jacket with both hands while sitting on a wheelchair. The jacket reaches down past his knees. The back of the jacket has three patches: [SAVAGE] / [an iron cross with a skull wearing horns] / [NOMADS]. Benny wears a dark color long-sleeved shirt and light color pants. He wears a flower-patterned bandana on his head. The background is a white wall with vegetation in the left lower corner.
There are no inscriptions on the front of the print. The back of the print is marked with the photographer’s signature, inscriptions, and a label related to the Puerto Rican Diaspora Documentary Project.
