Description
A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of A. Phillip Randolph giving a speech at an NAACP Convention in Albany, New York. The background is black with a single light illuminating from the upper right corner. Randolph is at the center, dressed in a black suit with a white dress shirt. He is standing in front of a microphone and podium. His proper right hand holds the edge of the podium and he is speaking into the microphone.
There are two inscriptions on the front of the print identifying the subject and the photographer's signature. On the back of the print is a vertical line made with pencil.
